• LOCATION - The new property is tucked away at the end of a very quiet cul-de-sac, so there will be virtually nobody else walking along the street in the evenings

  • TRANSPORT - We're a close walking distance from Hoxton Overground, Shoreditch High Street Overground and Old Street Underground, and there are many local bus routes. There is also safe and secure bike storage for anyone arriving on two wheels. Being on a cul-de-sac, we're a super-easy drop off and pick up spot for taxis  

  • ARRIVAL - The property will be completely disinfected before and after every Chef's Table service. Guests may phone us upon arrival if they'd rather not touch the doorbell. It will be sanitised regularly in any case. Guests will then be buzzed in, and the entrance door to the property will be kept open to walk straight though until the last guest has arrived. This is a social dining experience at two communal tables, so to ensure that everyone feels completely at ease, we'll provide 70% alcohol hand sanitiser to guests on arrival, and will also take each guest's temperature. This will be done with a non-contact instant laser thermometer and takes literally one second. We know that these are unprecedented  times to require such precautions, and we really appreciate your cooperation and understanding during this process. Guests will  then be offered alco-gel hand sanitiser, and their coats and jackets will be placed on sanitised hangers

  • TIMINGS - At a traditional restaurant there's a constant flow of guests arriving and leaving at different times, with lots of coming and going. This can often result in there being a lack of space around the entrance. At the Chef's Table all of the guests will arrive around 6pm. We don't take walk-ins, so once all of the guests have arrived there won't be any randoms turning up out of the blue

  • BOOKINGS - If you'd like to book the whole table for a private dining group of between to 6 to 12 guests on a Friday or Saturday evening, please get in touch via our Private Dining page. We can also take private bookings midweek for groups of 4 or more guests

  • STAFF - It'll just be Aidan cooking and his partner Eden sometimes helping with serving our guests. Both of us will be wearing face coverings throughout the evening. Aidan is a professional chef and is fully certified in Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Food Safety, and has many years of experience working to the high standards of Michelin starred restaurants. Aidan is also incredibly meticulous and conscientious by nature

  • THE LOO - We will ask that guests use hand sanitiser before using the bathroom, and then again after a thorough regular hand washing

  • COOPERATION - The collaboration of everyone attending will help to ensure maximum comfort for all. We will be putting these measures in place for the physical and mental well-being of our guests and of ourselves, but in the unlikely event that someone is deemed to be acting in a way that makes others feel uncomfortable, they will politely be asked to leave
